Vision, Objectives & Approach

Post  Admin on Thu Apr 10, 2008 9:48 am

Vision
This class is not designed to be another activity to add to your hectic schedule. Instead, it is an opportunity to impact your home, your family, and your life in positive and permanent ways.
You will be guided along an initial month-long journey to restore order and harmony to your life and home so that you can passionately pursue God’s special purposes. We will seek God’s direction to destroy the chains of guilt, ineffectiveness, inefficiency, and dissatisfaction that accompany the “busyness” of our many roles.
Objectives
Changing Heart: Experience a supportive fellowship of women in an environment of prayer, acceptance, accountability, and information.
Changing Habits: Focus on God’s biblical perspective for living and apply it to establishing practical and God-honoring goals, attitudes, and routines.
Changing Home: Learn and use practical tools for managing time, simplifying life, and reducing chaos in a way that radically impacts your home and family.
Approach
Project RE-organization kicks off with 2 inspiring group sessions and a closing celebration session 31 days later.
Between sessions, daily e-mail reminders and the Project RE-organization web blog will assist you in establishing life changing habits and restoring joy to the heart.
An optional, month-long advanced session will be offered as well.
Session One: Thursday, May 1, 6:30pm
Session Two: Thursday, May 8, 6:30pm
Celebration Session: Thurs, June 5, 6:30pm
Optional, Advanced Session: Thurs, July 10

If you relate to terms such as overwhelmed, frazzled, disorganized, overstressed or chaos, then Project RE-organization will be an answer to prayer. It’s time to embrace the freedom you have in Christ!

What will I get out of this Adventure?

Post  Admin on Sat May 03, 2008 3:17 pm

How would you like to say the following?
Most of the time:
-I have time take care of myself and my body
-I have time to take on interests and hobbies (i.e reading, scrapbookin)
-I have a clear picture of my goals and God ordained passions
-I maintain my home in 15 minutes a day on average
-My home is free of clutter and stays that way
-I no longer have to do marathon cleanings that sap the fun from my family and weekends
-I know where to find things I am looking for
-My home is welcoming and enviting - company can stop by unannounced
-I have the items I need to make meals and sit at the table with my family
-I meet all budget boundaries established
-I have the support and assistance of the people in my house - we work as a team
-I have time to focus on and relate to each individual in my family
-My children's schedules and responsibilities are followed
-I am on time to appoinments and errands get done
-I keep lines of healthy communication open with those outside my home
-I have time for regular Bible reading and prayer
-I have time to serve God in the ways He has called me
-I am balancing home and paid work demands
-I have time for self-development and connecting with others.

Well you can. These are things that are not just true "for those other women". You can get there to. This program is designed to get you there.

A Walk in Faith

Post  Admin on Mon May 05, 2008 9:22 pm

Project Re-organization is not just about getting more organized, managing time better or gaining a certain image, but a process primarily to grow our walk with the Lord. We want to do this with him & for him – not driven by guilt, unhappiness or desperateness but love for our Savior and our desire to please Him & become like him. God cares about our daily lives and even the mundane, routine tasks in them. But before he wants our works, he wants us.
I Thess “We are not trying to please men but God, who tests our hearts”. And He wants to be the author of our journey.
Beth Moore “God will never allow us continued success through our fleshly determination to ‘touch not, taste not, handle not’. He knows we would end up worshiping our own will and methods. Through the might of His Holy Spirit released through the authority of His Word, we are empowered to say no to the things we should – to our excesses, withholdings, compulsions, and harmful consumptions – and say yes to freedom, moderation, and better health. When we bow to God’s authority, we invite Him to take control, and HE is the ONE who does it.”
With that being said, we are going to start this process doing “first things first” and dedicating this journey to him & opening our hearts to what he would have to say to us individually.
